MK Dons have added to their attacking options with the signing of Norwich City’s Josh Murphy on a season long loan.
The 20-year-old joins Diego Poyet as Dons’ second signing of the week.
Murphy made his debut for the Canaries two seasons ago and made his mark by scoring a wonder-goal against Watford in the Capital One Cup.
He made a further 12 appearances that season including nine times in the top flight against the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.
He started last season in fine form for Norwich, scoring three goals in his first six outings including a brace in the Capital One Cup win over Crawley Town.
Championship appearances continue to flow for Murphy with the Canaries and Wigan Athletic, with whom he joined on loan in February and made five appearances for towards the back end of last season.
Murphy is the fourth player to join on a season-long loan, joining Sam Gallagher from Southampton, Rob Hall from Bolton Wanderers and Poyet from West Ham.
