New ticket pricing categories introduced to watch MK Dons next season
Ticket prices will be priced based on the opposition next season
Categorised matches will come into force at MK Dons next season for fans buying tickets for individual games.
Previously, the club has charged a flat rate for a matchday ticket at Stadium MK irrespective of the opposition visiting MK1. However, with the promotion to League One, the club have introduced a new pricing structure for the 26/27 season.
The fixtures, which will be revealed at midday on Thursday, to fall into the three categories will be confirmed as ‘the season progresses’ Dons have confirmed.
Ticket prices will be cheaper too if bought in advance compared to on the day.
Category A games will cost £28 for adults (rising to £30 if bought on the day), while Category B will start at £25 (£27 on the day) and Category C will be priced at £22 (£24). Click here for the full prices.
“Having benchmarked against other clubs in League One, we believe our tickets are well-priced and competitive with our rivals, reflecting on the matchday experience we aim to offer throughout the season,” said CEO Neil Hart.
“We are especially pleased to continue to offer tickets for the majority of our games to under 18s and under 12s for just £10 and £5 respectively, and even lower for category C games, showing our continued commitment to engaging children and young people by keeping football accessible and affordable.
“By introducing our advance prices, we are encouraging supporters to buy their tickets as early as possible. This allows us to have a greater understanding of the attendance for any game, which assists us in planning matchdays better while also reducing strain on staff and logistics.
“I’d like to place on record our massive thanks to our Supporters Board and our wider supporter groups (MK Dons Supporters Association and DonsAction) for their continued feedback and consultation in setting all our ticketing prices.”
