MK Dons boss Karl Robinson is said to be in the running for the vacant managerial post at Sheffield United, but there has not been an approach to speak with the 32-year-old.
The Blades are believed to have named Robinson on their managerial shortlist to replace Danny Wilson, who parted company with the South Yorkshire club in April.
Robinson is currently on a three and a half year rolling contract at stadium:mk, although Sheffield United are said to be prepared to pay compensation for the right man.
Meanwhile Dons appear to have missed out on the signing of Dundee United captain Jon Daly who looks set to join Rangers once his contract has expired this summer.
Dons assistant manager Mick Harford watched the 30-year-old striker in SPL action at Inverness on Saturday, but he now looks set for a move to Glasgow.
