Martin - 7 - was a spectator for much of the game, but made a couple of good stops too. Should have done better with Mendez-Laing’s shot which saw Mackail-Smith net Posh’s opener though.

Lewington - 8 - had his usual tough performance, and got forward excellently, crossing to create Dons’ opener for Powell. Was caught too deep playing Mackail-Smith onside for the opener.

MacKenzie - 7 - had a fairly quiet game despite marking Mackail-Smith. Dealt with everything in the air well.

O’Hanlon - 7 - was a big threat at corners and could have had two goals, but one was well saved and the other went over. Dealt well with Boyd who was largely anonymous.

Doumbe - 8 - linked up brilliantly with Powell and could also have had a couple of goals to his name, finding acres of space in the first 45 minutes of the game.

Gleeson - 7 - desperately unlucky to be sent off, but could have fouled Little earlier to stop his run. Otherwise an excellent display in midfield.

Clayton - 8 - the on-loan man filled Leven’s boots well, both in attack and defence. Showed good vision to set up Balanta for Dons’ third goal.

Chadwick - 8 - produced his usual energetic performance, showing skill and a calm head when he needed to. Got injured late on when blocking a shot.

Powell - 7 - showed glimpses of what he’s capable in the first half. Scored the equaliser but tired towards the end.

Balanta - 8 - had a good scrap with Little on the left flank all game, often coming out on top. Showed great persistence to score the third.

Baldock - 7 - linked up well in the first half, but was drowned out by long high balls. Was much improved in the second half, scoring an outrageous free-kick to put Dons ahead.

Subs: Marsh- Brown - 6 - tried too hard to show off his tricks when a pass would have been a better option.

Ibehre - 6 - didn’t have much of an effect on the game after coming on for the last 10 minutes for a tiring Balanta.

Top Don - Balanta: Is back to his best after injury ruled him out for most of the season. Showed confidence in taking on everyone in his path, plus passed well, and it was a great finish for his goal. Could be a vital player at London Road if he’s on his game again.
