Player ratings vs Bristol City: Gleeson pops up everywhere

Player ratings vs Bristol City

David Martin - 7 - Nothing he could have done about Baldock’s strikes. Made some good stops too. Looked good in the air.

Lee Hodson - 6 - Looked a little shaky and off colour. Replaced by Dele Alli in the second half.

Shaun Williams - 7 - Rattled the frame with a free kick, but an otherwise uneventful game.

Antony Kay - 7 - Took his eye off Baldock once and was made to pay as he put Bristol 2-1 up.

Jon Otsemobor - 6 - Like Kay, solid performance but gave Baldock too much space for the opener.

Darren Potter - 6 - Pulled the strings, but was anonymous in the first half.

Stephen Gleeson - 8 - Put in the miles, box-to-box and was everywhere to make vital interceptions.

Luke Chadwick - 7 - Showed why he’s worthy of a starting role. Made Dons’ opening goal and covered a lot of ground.

Jason Banton - 6 - Fancied another range effort, but didn’t contribute much.

George Baldock - 7 - Didn’t let the occasion get on top of him, but opted out of a tasty challenge with his brother!

Patrick Bamford - 7 - Came close on a couple of occasions before netting his goal, which he took very well. A box of tricks.

Samir Carruthers - 7 - Took his goal brilliantly and changed the pace of the game.

Dele Alli - 7 - Helped drive Dons on with his introduction.

Izale McLeod - 7 - Looked dangerous off the last man.
