Player ratings Vs Carlisle: Chicksen making it hard for Lewington to get his spot back

editorial image

David Martin - 7 - A solid clean sheet for the keeper, though he didn’t have to do much to keep it.

Jon Otsemobor - 7 - Getting to grips with the style Dons play, and is finding his feet going forward too.

Adam Chicksen - 8 - Another excellent performance at left back, keeping Liam Noble very quiet throughout. Lewington may find it hard to win his spot back when his suspension is up.

Gary MacKenzie - 8 - Continuing his fine start to the season, MacKenzie dealt with everything Carlisle had to throw at him, which wasn’t that much in truth.

Shaun Williams - 7 - A cool, calm and collected display as he played out of position once again.

Darren Potter - 7 - A typically Potter performance. Created a great counter in the first half, and started the move for the second goal with a vital tackle in his own area.

Stephen Gleeson - 8 - Never stopped running throughout the 90 minutes. Seems a more mature player than ever before, especially with the captain’s armband on.

Luke Chadwick - 7 - Took his goal brilliantly, but went missing in the second half. Replaced by Jimmy Bullard.

Daniel Powell - 7 - Should have done better in a one-on-one in the first half, but played a key role in both goals.

Dean Bowditch - 7 - Tested the keeper early on and probably deserved a goal for his efforts.

Ryan Lowe - 7 - Clearly delighted with his first goal in Dons colours.

Charlie MacDonald - 6 - Came on at a time when Dons were knocking it around in midfield for fun. Didn’t see much of the ball.

Jimmy Bullard - 6 - Showed glimpses of what he is capable of, including a moment of brilliance to beat Chris Chantler on the edge of the box.

Jay O’Shea - A late substitute, but had a shot just over the bar.
