Player Ratings vs Leyton Orient: Bamford shines in a difficult performance

Player ratings vs Leyton Orient.

Ian McLoughlin - 6 - Some nervy opening touches, but couldn’t do much about either goal.

Dean Lewington - 7 - Looked a bit lost in the early stages having to cover for Carruthers. But was strong in the second half and looked back at home.

Jon Otsemobor - 6 - Beaten a little too easily and too often.

Shaun Williams - 7 - Came close with a free kick, and coped well with David Mooney.

Tom Flanagan - 6 - Showed a nervous streak, sometimes could have been a bit more physical. Gillingham still on his mind, perhaps.

Stephen Gleeson - 6 - Not really at the races today.

Darren Potter - 5 - Gave the ball away frequently, not adding much in defence or attack.

Luke Chadwick - 6 - Struggled with his first touch, gave the ball away a lot, but slid in Bamford for Dons’ only goal.

Daniel Powell - 6 - Seemed to have lost the ability to run with the ball without tripping over it. But still gathering match sharpness.

Samir Carruthers - 5 - Tried too hard at times, leaving Lewington in the lurch. Replaced by Baldock.

Patrick Bamford - 7 - Took his goal brilliantly from no-where, but struggled to make a big impact. Played much better with McLeod alongside him.

George Baldock - 7 - Gave Dons a new edge on the right, always keen to see the ball.

Izale McLeod - 7 - Two thundering efforts, unlucky not to score with both.

Alan Smith - Too late to make an impact.
