Player Ratings against Northampton Town.

Ian McLoughlin - 6 - Iffy distribution, a couple of strange passes but couldn’t really do much for O’Donovan’s goal.

Lee Hodson - 7 - A good showing on the right. Sent in some dangerous looking crosses too.

Jon Otsemobor - 7 - Looked capable at centre back, making a few decent breaks forward.

Tom Flanagan - 7 - Untroubled for the most part, making his first start for the club in over a year.

Shaun Williams - 8 - Showed he’s more than capable of playing all over the defence, and being top class at it.

Ben Reeves - 7 - Made a nuisance of himself in the middle. Topped off his performance with a goal.

Stephen Gleeson - 7 - Another midfield general’s showing, battling hard at both ends.

Dele Alli - 7 - Showed why Premier League scouts are looking at him with interest. Top quality display but got a real kicking from the Northampton defenders.

George Baldock - 7 - Could have added a couple of goals, but an all-round good performance.

Jason Banton - 7 - Signs of his lightning pace were there for all to see. Good goal.

Patrick Bamford - 7 - Looked good, keen to get on the ball and troublesome.

Luke Chadwick - 6 - Slowed down the pace with his introduction.

Izale McLeod - 6 - Was the target of a more direct game, and could have won a penalty.

Brendan Galloway - Came on too late to make an impact.
