Player ratings vs Rotherham

David Martin - 7 - Took everything in the air, did his best to kill some time, but couldn’t do much about either goals.

Dean Lewington - 8 - Not the end he’d have wanted from his 500th Dons game, but fared well as Rotherham piled forward.

Jordan Spence - 7 - Had to be on his game for 90 minutes and more to keep out the home side.

George Baldock - 6 - Injury looks to have ended his season.

Brendan Galloway - 6 - Perhaps unlucky to be sent off, but otherwise looked comfortable on the ball.

Stephen Gleeson - 7 - Marshalled the midfield well, though was used more as a defensive blocker in the second half.

Dele Alli - 7 - Showed great initiative to launch the counter for the second goal.

Ryan Hall - 7 - His most lively showing in an MK Dons shirt, setting up the first goal.

Matty Kennedy - 7 - Took his first career goal well, but had to defend for most of the second period.

Alan Smith - 7 - His physical prowess was a huge help in the second half before he made way.

Izale McLeod - 7 - Kept his work-rate up throughout, even though he was left to chase long hopeful punts. Well taken goal.

Tom Flanagan - 8 - Showed no signs of rustiness or nervousness after a spell away. Well defended on the whole.

Mark Randall - 8 - Filled in very well at right back. Made some excellent challenges.

James Loveridge - 7 - A dangerous outlet on the break for Dons, but would’ve wanted more from his two shots on goal.
