Ian McLoughlin - 7 - His best performance in a Dons shirt. While he had little action to contend with, he kicked well and his touch was good.

Dean Lewington - 8 - Bullied Danny Holmes in the early stages as the Rovers full-back tried to push on. Was taken off in the second half after an earlier knock.

Adam Chicksen - 7 - Mr Utility played well on both flanks without needing to do much defensively.

Antony Kay - 7 - A confident performance after his midweek howler.

Shaun Williams - 7 - Set up Gleeson’s goal, and Potter’s somewhat inadvertently, with a cracking free kick. Untroubled at the back.

Darren Potter - 7 - Ran the show, and was given the freedom to do so by the stand-offish Tranmere midfield.

Chris Lines - 7 - Another solid showing, adding some physicality to the centre of the park.

Stephen Gleeson - 8 - Getting closer all the time. Took his goal brilliantly, but still a bit shy in the physical challenges.

Dean Bowditch - 7 - Tireless performance on the left. Looked exhausted by the end. Unlucky to hit the bar with a first half shot which set up Lewington.

Patrick Bamford - 7 - Growing in confidence but still trying to do too much on his own,

Ryan Lowe - 7 - As ever, full of running and chased down every Tranmere defender relentlessly.

Jon Otsemobor - 6 - Replaced Lewington, but had so little to do in defence.

Izale McLeod - 6 - Looked dangerous in behind and send a volley just wide.

George Baldock - 7 - First appearance for a long time, but looked strong and keen to impress.
