Player ratings vs Wigan:

David Martin - 7 - Made some good stops in the first half, but not overly troubled.

Dean Lewington - 6 - Caught up field often, and bullied off the ball for Fortune’s third.

Lee Hodson - 7 - Decent return, good cross for Chadwick’s opener.

Antony Kay - 7 - Great in the air, but played Powell onside in extra time in his breakaway goal.

Shaun Williams - 7 - Troubled Al Habsi with a couple of great free kicks and had one deflected onto the post.

Darren Potter - 6 - Torrid conditions made the pitch a tough one to play on for the midfield string puller.

Stephen Gleeson - 7 - Great engine as ever, made some do-or-die tackles.

Samir Carruthers - 8 - Popped up everywhere, excellent in attack and defence.

Luke Chadwick - 7 - Great return to the side after injury, scoring Dons’ only goal.

Ben Reeves - 8 - Really in a rich vein of form, battling brilliantly and proving an real attacking threat.

Daniel Powell - 7 - Began to get to grips with playing up front as the game wore on. Potential for future games.


Dean Bowditch - 7 - Another good return, and looked dangerous.

George Baldock - 6 - Came on when Dons were trailing, and couldn’t really make much impact.

Alan Smith - 6 - Like Baldock, but threw himself about anyway.

Top Don: Samir Carruthers
