Player ratings vs Tranmere.

Ian McLoughlin - 6 - Caught out for the first goal, but not much he could have done. Distribution still lacking.

Jon Otsemobor - 6 - Didn’t look comfortable throughout.

Dean Lewington - 7 - Strong for the large part, but was out-numbered for Rowe’s winner.

Shaun Williams - 6 - His early howler allowed Lowe to score his first of the afternoon.

Jordan Spence - 6 - Looked good for the most, but a rush of blood saw him pull down Atkinson for the penalty.

Ben Reeves - 6 - Looked busy, but with little end product.

Darren Potter - 5 - Another sub-standard performance from the former Player of the Year. Looks lost without Gleeson.

Luke Chadwick - 6 - Energetic performance without much to show for it.

Daniel Powell - 7 - His best performance since his return. Brilliant goal.

Jason Banton - 8 - Showed flashes of what he’s capable of, including a wonder goal.

Patrick Bamford - 6 - Isolated up front on his own, couldn’t do much. Missed a sitter though.

Izale McLeod - 6 - Tried to make an impact out wide.

Samir Carruthers - Came on too late to make a real impact.
