Pritchard wants the League Two title after completing MK Dons move

Midfielder Joe Pritchard has set his sights on winning the League Two title with MK Dons after he completed a move from Accrington Stanley.
The sixth signing of the summer for Dons, Pritchard joins former Stanley man Tommy Leigh to MK1, while he has also played alongside defender Sam Sherring, who was also to Mike Williamson’s arsenal last week.

After spending five years at the Wham Stadium, Pritchard was offered a deal to remain for next season, but opted instead to make the move to Milton Keynes where he believes he can win the League Two title next season.
“We want to get promoted,” he said in his first interview. “That's the ambition, but I want to take it to the next level and top the league.
“I spoke with Mike and Ian (Watson, assistant head coach) on Zoom, was told a lot of their plans, what they're looking to do and how I fit in. It's a great opportunity for me, and I feel I can make a big impact on the team.

He continued: “I walked in, had the tour, sat in the analysis theatre too, which I never thought I'd see again. It has been amazing.
“I wear my heart on my sleeve, I'm electric, agile, I like to create chances, get forward and have an impact. I work has hard as I can every day.
“I'm well rested, I've put in a lot of work, I'm ready for wherever my opportunity was going to end up, but I'm so happy it's here.

Pritchard and Leigh are close off the field too, the new signing said, adding: “I'm really good friends with Tommy, we play a lot of golf and darts together so I'm excited to keep close with him, and Sam too who came on loan to Accrington, so I've got a good relationship with him too.”
