Player ratings in MK Dons' 1-1 draw with Walsall:

Lee Nicholls - 7- Only beaten by a penalty. Otherwise a solid performance as ever.

Joe Walsh - 7 - A good showing on his return to the side after so long out.

Scott Wootton - 7 - Kept Roberts quiet by and large, but looked as though he had to cover for Ebanks-Landell at times.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell - 5 - Could have scored in the first half, but a silly tackle in the second gifted Walsall a penalty and a way back into the game.

Callum Brittain - 6 - A strong first half made way for an indifferent second. Some loose crosses when better balls were on the cards.

Scott Golbourne - 6 - Made up for his mistake on Saturday with a solid showing.

Ed Upson - 6 - Pinpoint free kick for Aneke's opener, but had a quiet evening otherwise.

Ouss Cisse - 6 - A standard Cisse performance with good moments curtailed with the dodgy.

Alex Gilbey - 7 - Box to box, popped up in all the right areas, but at times the ball just didn't make it's way to him when it really should.

Chuks Aneke - 8 - His first 90 minutes in seven months, his first goal in about the same period too and the leader of the pack.

Kieran Agard - 6 - Good work-rate without much end product.

Osman Sow - 6 - May have gone on to do something but hobbled off himself.

Aidan Nesbitt - 6 - Didn't do enough to change the game.

Gboly Ariyibi - A late change for injured Sow.
