Karl Robinson is keeping an active eye on his loan players, but admits it may become more difficult as more seek out first team football,
George Baldock has been in impressive form at Oxford United this season, while hotly-tipped Giorgio Rasulo has just begun his loan tenure at Oldham Athletic.
In regular contact with both players, Robinson was watching Baldock in action on Tuesday night and fully expects the 22-year-old to return to stadium:mk better than ever, and fight for his position next season.
“I spoke to Giorgio on Monday, and I went to see George play on Tuesday,” said Robinson. “We are getting a few more out on loan, which will make it more difficult to keep in contact with them all the time.
“George is doing wonderfully well, exactly as we said he would. He’d go there, do well and we want to get him back here as soon as he can to fight for his position. It’s important for us.”
One player who may also be heading out on loan soon is Dale Jennings. Having missed most of the season through injury, Jennings looks likely to be farmed out to get back to match fitness.
Robinson added: “Dale is now running again. He needs to go out and get games. He knows that. We all know how talented he is when he’s fit.”
