Karl Robinson believes his side will ‘murder’ League 1 leaders Scunthorpe if they choose to sit back against MK Dons.
Graham Alexander’s side have a 10 point advantage over Robinson’s men already this season, and will meet at Glanford Park on Saturday.
The Dons boss felt his side deserved to win on Saturday against Port Vale, and insisted if Scunthorpe choose to sit back against his side this weekend, there will only be one winner.
“It’ll be one of the hardest games of the season so far,” he said. “But if Scunthorpe play like Port Vale did here, we will murder them.
“Let’s put the cards on the table: if you sit in against us, we will start taking our chances.
“If you dominate a game against us, we’ll hold our hands up. If they come at us, it’s their prerogative.
“I’ve been here for nearly 350 games - come on, I think I know what I’m doing now. I’ve seen it before. But Scunthorpe are top, and will set up to try and beat us.”
