Dons defender Kyle McFadzean hasn’t spoken with Karl Robinson since handing in his transfer request earlier this month, says the manager.
The 29-year-old centre back has had a £500,000 price slapped on his head after he handed in a transfer request, but hasn’t shown his face at training since the team returned last week.
McFadzean has been subject to interest from Sheffield United - the club McFadzean supports - but Dons have already said they won’t be selling to a divisional rival.
And Robinson admitted he hasn’t spoken to the defender, and has no idea whether he will return to training any time soon, but is standing firm on his valuation.
“I don’t know - I’ve not spoken to him,” he said. “Kyle has a lot of work to do. That’s his decision.
“His agent has been really good, but we’ve not spoken to Kyle.
“The valuation on him is £500,000 - it’s as simple as that. If he wants to go, it’s £500,000 for the best centre half in the league. I don’t care about what he thinks.”
