Just 64 hours separated their Wednesday win over Colchester United and the early kick-off against the Bees on Saturday, with the head coach admitting his side are starting to look jaded.
With options available to him, Warne admitted ahead of the game that he may look to rotate to face Barnet.
“We’ll have a look at the lads and see who is wounded and who isn’t,” he said. “When the games come so fast as they are, you want to pick your strongest 11, but sometimes that means the freshest 11.
“Wednesday night to Saturday morning is pretty rapido. We won’t name a team until pretty late, but with such a quick turnaround, the lads won’t forget how to play. We’ll have to tweak a bit.
“I don’t think there’s a massive disparity, and I don’t think any changes we make will mean we’re weaker, just different. If we need to change shape or personnel, if I think it means we will win the game, then I will.”
Here’s how we think MK Dons could line-up to face Barnet.
