Sunderland 1-2 MK Dons: Dons win again at the Stadium of Light!

Not a classic, goal-less with precious few chances. Parrott with the best sight of goal but nothing really to separate the sides.

Great quick thinking from Coventry, picking out Parrott over the top who fires straight at Patterson and it’s tipped over the top.

Best chance of the game.

Corry Evans leaves a late one on Scott Twine on half-way but Dons play on, get it forward before losing possession, McEachran bringing down Matete - both Evans and McEachran go into the book.

Still no real pace or urgency from either side in this one yet.

Coming back into the side this afternoon, Mo Eisa has caused Sunderland a fair few problems so far, winning a few corners and being a general nuisance to that back line.

Dons controlling it so far without really giving Patterson a save to make.

Long ball up towards the wing-back who draws out the keeper to the edge of the box, but his attempt hits Patterson and is safely cleared.

Still very slow, but chances are beginning to come.

Quite a slow start from both Dons and Sunderland thus far, very patient and respectful!

Ross Stewart somehow managed to be miles offside and yet the flag remained down, making Cumming make the save, then it went up.

At the other end, Eisa nipped in to get on the end of a loose back-pass to keeper Anthony Patterson to win a corner, which came to nothing.
