There could be plenty of familiar faces in the Mansfield Town side when MK Dons arrive at Field Mill tomorrow night.
No fewer than five of the Stags squad have previously pulled on the shirt for Dons down the years, with varying levels of success.
1. Baily Cargill
Signed from Bournemouth in the summer of 2018, Baily Cargill started life brilliantly at MK Dons, but struggled to find consistency after his first six months at the club. In and out of the side, he departed for Forest Green in January 2021 before joining Mansfield last summer | Getty Images
2. George Williams
Williams quickly became a firm member of the MK Dons fold after rejoining the club in 2016. Having come through the academy and been released as a teenager, Williams racked up 174 appearances before departing in January 2021 for Bristol Rovers. 3. Jordan Bowery
A summer signing after Dons secured promotion in 2019, striker Bowery scored just twice in 22 appearances of the curtailed 19/20 season. Now playing a more defensive role in his fourth season at Field Mill, Bowery has racked up more than 150 appearances for the Stags | Getty Images
4. Stephen Quinn
Stephen Quinn made a big impression at the National Hockey Stadium during his brief stint there on loan from Sheffield United. As a combative midfielder, Quinn was a regular in the side, but left in January for Rotherham, who would ironically send MK Dons down that season.
