Off the pace and distinctly second-best all over the pitch, Dons handed the Latics their first win of the season in routine fashion.

Here’s how we rated the players at the Brick Community Stadium.

Put himself about but with little success | MK Dons

Had little impact before being subbed at the break | MK Dons

Forced to chase a lot of lost causes but should have scored from close range at the end of the first half | MK Dons

Another performance unrewarded, chasing hopeful balls down | MK Dons
