On a day where defences were on top, there was some excellent performances at Stadium MK, with the new faces standing out to their new supporters.
Here’s how we rated the players.
5. Aaron Nemane - 7
Looked really bright in the first-half of the first-half, linking really well with Crowley. Had flashes in the second too, his best game for a while | Jane Russell
6. Joe Tomlinson - 6.5
Had a few flashes down the left, and helped create what was probably Dons' best chance with a low drive towards Hogan | Jane Russell
7. Jay Williams - 8
A warrior-like midfield showing. On a booking for what looked like a fair challenge in the first-half, Williams ran the show, mopping up in front of the back three, while turning Dons forwards swiftly. Excellent. | Jane Russell
8. Joe White - 6.5
Industrious and gave Dons a bit of flair but offered up much of his recent responsibility to those around him | Jane Russell
