After trailing to Danny Rose’s 16th minute goal for the Mariners, Dons scored twice in quick succession through Alex Gilbey and Scott Hogan to take the lead before Connor Lemonheigh-Evans scored in stoppage time to make sure of the result.
The trio of victories lift Dons into ninth in League Two, just one point outside the play-off spots.
Here’s how we rated the players.
9. Alex Gilbey - 7
A second goal in a week, to mark the arrival of his second daughter. Looked like he loved the physical scrap in the middle of the park | Jane Russell
10. Tommy Leigh - 6.5
Returned after illness and had a couple of half-sights of goal in the first-half before turning provider for Gilbey to equalise | Jane Russell
11. Scott Hogan - 7.5
Another excellent game. Didn't get much to work with in the first-half despite his good runs, but charged down the keeper a few times to fluster him, and hit the post just before scoring to give Dons the lead. Fitness constantly improving too | Jane Russell
12. Sub: Kane Thompson-Sommers - 5.5
A decent outing on his return to the side. Scrapped and battled, made a good account of himself | Jane Russell
