JABO Ibehre and Tom Flanagan have become the latest players to extend their Dons contracts.

Ibehre, 28, has agreed a two-year extension to remain at stadium:mk, while 19-year-old Flanagan – who graduated through Dons’ academy last year – has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal, with an option for a second year.

Ibehre featured 48 times up front for Dons last season – scoring five goals in all competitions – and revived his career in Milton Keynes after being loaned out to Stockport County the previous year.

“I’m delighted to have Jabo at the club for another two years,” said boss Karl Robinson. “A lot of clubs were interested in his services, but Jabo can see we are building something special at MK Dons and he wants to be a part of that.”

After spending most of last season on loan at Blue Square Premier side Kettering, Flanagan said he was thrilled to get another chance to impress at stadium:mk.

He said: “I really pleased. I worked really hard last season and I’m chuffed to bits with the new deal. This is a desirable club with a great stadium and I’m happy to be a part of it.”

Ibehre and Flanagan signing on leaves just Peter Leven and Adam Chicksen of the first team squad still to agree new contracts for next season.
