Youngster Tripp joins Sutton United until the end of the season on loan
The MK Dons academy product will test himself in the National League
Callum Tripp has joined National League side Sutton United on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has seen his first team opportunities limited this term at MK Dons, making only four appearances, three of them in the Vertu Trophy and one in the FA Cup.
Earlier this season, he spent a month on loan at Bedford Town where he made six outings, having also had temporary spells at St Albans and Gateshead previously.
“I’m buzzing to be honest,” said Tripp. “We finally got it done, I had interest about a month ago and since then my focus has just been trying to get it sorted.
“I’ve met the boys, met the Gaffer and all the staff today, and I’m really excited to get going.”
He joins Chris Agutter’s side sat 20th in the National League, and arrives in time to feature in tomorrow’s game against fourth placed Forest Green Rovers at Gander Green Road.
Tripp’s departure is the second of the day, after Kane Thompson-Sommers also left MK1 on loan, joining Bristol Rovers.
