Darren Moore said he was thoroughly entertained by the 1-1 draw played out between MK Dons and his Doncaster Rovers side at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday.

Baily Cargill's 88th-minute equaliser cancelled out Madger Gomes' second-half strike to share the spoils in a similar fashion to the fixture last season, only with the roles reversed.

Dons boss Russell Martin said his side deserved a point at the very least for their efforts in Yorkshire - sentiment echoed by the Doncaster boss when he spoke afterwards.

"Because it was such a late goal in a tightly contested football match, you're going to be disappointed," Moore said. "But I quite enjoyed the game. I felt it was a great game and, not to rub salt in the wounds of the fans, they would have loved it had they been in here today.

"Looking on the balance of the game, I think a point was fair for both teams."
