It has been a busy transfer window already for MK Dons, but Russell Martin says there will be more business conducted before the month is out.

Having loaned in Manchester United defender Ethan Laird, signed Charlie Brown from Chelsea, extended the contract of Andrew Surman, moved in on the signing of Warren O'Hora, released Baily Cargill to sign for Forest Green and ended loan spells with Ste Walker and Carlton Morris, the Dons boss says the club is working on both departures and arrivals.

"We will do more business, I don't know how much, but we're working hard and relentlessly," he said. "There could be more people leave, I don't know yet.

"We're still trying to restructure in terms of the finances of it. The expectation is to improve, but we're trying to do it on a different scale to the previous manager. But we're still trying to improve the squad.

"The chairman and Andrew Cullen have always said if we can identify someone who we think can really help, they'll do as much as they can.

"It's always frustrating because you're waiting and spinning plates. I can't tell you who or when yet. We're right in the hunt for the people we want."
