Carlton Morris admitted a lot of things would need to fall in place but did not rule out a return to MK Dons next season.

The striker is currently on loan from Premier League Norwich City, and has played in all but one game - one he was suspended for - since signing on loan in January.

Morris has been friends with Dons boss Russell Martin since their time together at Carrow Road, and cut short his spell at promotion-chasers Rotherham to make the switch to Stadium MK.

But with his loan spell set to end in May, Morris said his future remains unclear.

"You never know in football," he said. "All I can say is I'm really enjoying myself for now, but there is a lot of cogs that would need to be in place for it to happen.

"I'm not ruling it out, I've really enjoyed my time here and I love the squad and the staff here, but we'll have to see.

"When I came here, that was the goal. I play my best football when I'm enjoying myself. The style and culture around the club really suits me and I'm really enjoying it.

"I just try to be myself around the club, and people either like that or they don't! Fortunately, it's a great dressing room here, they've taken me in and made me feel really comfortable. It's another thing that culminates in enjoyment, and it helps with performances as well.
