Negative covid tests for Morris and Thompson

Carlton Morris and Louis Thompson received negative covid-19 tests but missed out on the game against Wigan through illness.

The on-loan Norwich duo were absent from Stadium MK on Tuesday night, but manager Russell Martin hopes to have the pair available to him on Saturday for the game against AFC Wimbledon.

“Both were gutted to miss out, both wanted to play but they were unwell,” Martin confirmed. “Luckily for us, they tested negative for Covid but they were unwell so they were at home.

“We hope they’re better soon because they have been brilliant on and off the pitch for us.”
