Luke Williams hinted the injuries to Warren O'Hora and Sam Nombe sustained in the 3-2 win over Stevenage on Tuesday night are not too bad, despite both being forced off.

Nombe took a blow to his leg in the first half and despite limping on for 10 minutes, was eventually replaced by Carlton Morris on the half-hour mark. He'd score within two minutes of coming on.

O'Hora looked assured in defence but was shoved while going up for a header and collided with keeper Laurie Walker's elbow, cutting him on the head. The Irish defender too was forced off.

Assistant manager Luke Williams downplayed the severity of both injuries afterwards, saying: "(Nombe's) looks initially like a dead leg. The medical team will discover that. Normally, it's not a big issue but we'll wait and see on the outcome.

"Warren has taken a knock to the head and protocol says he has to come off. He's a proper old fashioned centre back and will head a filing cabinet if you throw it at him so this won't stop him."
