Warren O'Hora thinks he can become a louder voice in the dressing room now he has made his move to MK Dons permanent.

The Irishman completed his move from Brighton on Monday after making 17 appearances on-loan in the first half of the season.

Russell Martin spoke of O'Hora's leadership qualities after signing him, and the 21-year-old believes he can be a more vocal member of the squad now he is a full-time member of the team.

"Coming in as a loan player, you don't want to be the biggest voice, or at least that's what I felt," he said. "You don't want to be the cocky young lad who thinks he knows everything because I don't! Leadership I think is one of my qualities and I think I can get better at that.

"Hopefully, it comes out a bit more because I'm here permanently, and I can voice my opinions a bit more and be a bit louder on the pitch."

Having come through the ranks at Bohemians in Ireland, O'Hora spent three years at the Amex Stadium where he did not make a first team appearance. His time at Dons though is his first experience of first team football in England, and he says he is still getting used to the physical and mental demands.

O'Hora continued: "I'm still adapting to the league and the demands of it. I got a good run of games and I've adapted well to the team, the way we play, and I went on from there. The main thing is that I was enjoying football and it made it so much easier for me.

"It's my first season which is a bit crazy considering where I've come from, and I'm really happy about where it's come to. The demands of men's football, trying to get three points every weekend is more enjoyable really, especially if you come away with a win because you're buzzing for the rest of the week and you've got a bit of confidence.

"Every game is something to fight for, a bit of pressure which every player loves."
