The Newport Pagnell Town tournament proved to be a fruitful one for Olney Town Colts Tigers U9 as they lifted the trophy as winner.
They battled their way through seven group games, and finished in the top four to progress to the quarter finals.
There, they saw off MK Wanderers to book their semi-final spot.
Woburn were all that stood between Olney and the final, and victory saw them book a spot against Great Linford.
The match was a repeat of the Cranfield tournament last month, but this time, Olney got the better of their opponents, winning 2-0.
Tournament organisers said: “There was some great football being played by all teams and the referees had reported back how well the teams were passing the ball and playing as a team.
“The games were competitive but played with great sportmanship.
“The games also improved as the tournament progressed with teams seeming to save the best until last - and the final was a great display of fast paced passing and movement. “All the boys involved should be really proud of what they have accomplished.”
