Russell Martin will have plenty of choice when it comes to picking his strikers to start against Shrewsbury on Tuesday night.

Cameron Jerome, Joe Mason, Will Grigg and Charlie Brown have all found the net at least once in the last four games, with all bar Mason scoring against Northampton Town on Saturday afternoon in the 4-3 win.

With options available to him, and his strikers all firing, the manager said all four are worthy of a starting spot.

"It’s nice," he said. "The way the games have gone recently at home we’ve needed goals. We look a real threat and have real power and intelligence. They all put in a shift, we’ve four strong options and we trust them all.

"They’ll all be desperate to play, them two positions and the wing backs require so much intensity and energy, it requires changes up sometimes. They really back each other and believe in one another. They have such healthy competition.

"Griggy and Mase have a lot to prove to people and are two fantastic players. Charlie is desperate to go and kick on and Cammy has been at the highest level and is still so hungry.

"If they continue to do so we have a really strong attacking options and gives us a lot to work with."
