Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett said his side were good value for their 3-1 win over MK Dons on Tuesday night.

Andy Cannon struck early at Fratton Park - where Portsmouth have not lost in League One all season - before the home side were pegged back by Alex Gilbey in first half stoppage time. John Marquis made it 2-1 before Carlton Morris was sent off and Marcus Harness added a third in stoppage time.

"We're delighted," said Jackett after his side bounced back from defeat to Fleetwood at the weekend. "Both sides set out to attack and create chances. I thought overall we had more and our finishing was good enough and clinical enough.

"The three goals do reflect what we did going forward and obviously played a major part in winning the game.

"It was a very open game, both sides went for it. MK Dons go forward from start to finish as well."
