Dean Lewington - 7 - Everything seemed to go through him in the first half, but was wholly untroubled all afternoon.

Paul Downing - 7 - A few nervous moments, but won everything fired aerially at him.
George Baldock - 7 - Was more of an asset going forwards, doubling up with George C Williams.
Darren Potter - 7 - Played a box-to-box role at times, with some hard crunching challenges thrown in for good measure.

Hide AdEd Upson - 8 - The best player on the pitch. Controlled the tempo, excellent set pieces, broke up play well and teed up Daniel Powell for the winner. A brilliant debut.
Samir Carruthers - 7 - Looked dangerous and eager to drive on before suffering a groin injury.
Daniel Powell - 7 - Started well but drifted out of the game until he scored with 18 minutes to go.
George C Williams - 6 - Wasn’t in the game in the first half, drifted infield as the game wore on to get on the ball, and saw a few shots blocked at the source.

Hide AdNicky Maynard - 7 - Chased lost causes all afternoon with no reward and no real chances to speak of. His best came when Leutwiler kicked the ball into him.
Subs:
Giorgio Rasulo - 6 - Looked caught on his heels all too often.
Brandon Thomas-Asante - 6 - Made a few positive runs as Shrewsbury left gaps in behind.
George B Williams - Stoppage time introduction.
