The former Blackburn midfielder joined the club this month, after Dons escaped the League One drop zone for the first time since November last year.

Though they have picked up just one point from the last three games, Gladwin says performances have significantly improved over the last few weeks, and believes it is only a matter of time before the result follow.

“Not even slightly,” he said when asked if it felt like a relegation battle.

“You can see the way the football has changed since the manager took over. It’s really attractive to watch. It can get frustrating when you don’t get the results you deserve, but it’s a process we’re going through.

“When the results come, it will be a great place to come and watch football.

“It will click and we’ll be fine. I imagine we’ll be well clear of the relegation zone come the end of the season.”
