Robbo will wait for Richie
Charlton boss Karl Robinson said he is still looking to bolster his backroom staff but may have to wait for Richie Barker to become available.
Barker took charge of his final game in caretaker charge of MK Dons on Saturday in a 0-0 draw with Charlton, but admitted he didn't know where his future lay after the hiring of Robbie Neilson on Friday.
Robinson meanwhile took charge of his first game as Charlton manager but later admitted he was still keen to add to his backroom staff, but wouldn't approach Barker until he knew of his long-term plans.
"Richie is employed so I have to let things happen," said Robinson. "We haven't spoken all week, because I didn't want to ask him anything, it wouldn't be fair. He's a great guy and a great football man."
Coming up against his former club, Robinson added: "It was weird. When they get their movement patterns right, and with that bravery to play the way they do in the back four, it makes things really hard. I've seen them do that every week to times.
"The new manager going in has a very exciting, free-flowing football team. But so do I."
