Sam Nombe set for Luton Town move

Sam Nombe is having a medical at Luton Town ahead of a loan move to Kenilworth Road on transfer deadline day.

The 21-year-old has scored six goals in 46 appearances for Dons since making his debut in August 2017. After injuries to Rhys Healey and Joe Mason last season, hopes were pinned on Nombe by then-boss Paul Tisdale before injury sidelined him for three months.

He made seven appearances this season for Russell Martin's side, netting in the 3-1 win over Northampton Town in the EFL Trophy at Stadium MK.

Luton sit fifth in the Championship after four games, with Nombe's acquisition on loan initially.
