Stony Stratford U12s have certainly had a season to remember.
After winning the league by four points and taking victory in the Aylesbury Town Tournament, they added the Newport Pagnell Town Tournament trophy to their cabinet for the second year running.
The boys played nine matches in the hot sun, and were remained unbeaten throughout.
They scored 14 goals, with Ethan Flanaghan top scoring with eight, while Luke Hewett added four of his own, and two from Tom Simister.
And keeper Harry McKeeman only let in four at the other end as they lifted the trophy.
The tournament wasn’t without drama though - skipper Charlie Boxell had to be stretchered off after injuring his knee following a tough tackle in the last minutes of the semi-final.
But the rest of the lads battled on to win the final for their stricken captain on the touchline.
Charlie is currently resting his knee and hopes to be back in action for the Stony Tournament this weekend.
