Goals from Cameron Jerome and Scott Fraser at the Stadium of Light cancelled out Max Power's opener after 12 minutes to ensure Dons won their first away game since September 2019 on Saturday. Here's how we rated the players.
1. Top Don: Andrew Fisher - 8
Couldn't really be faulted for the goal, but ensured Dons picked up all the points with three excellent second half saves. His breakout performance for the club.
2. Dean Lewington - 7.5
With their backs to the wall late on, the entire defence, marshalled by the captain, performed brilliantly to keep Sunderland at bay.
3. Richard Keogh - 7
Made his return to the side after missing the last two, but gifted Sunderland their best chance which was fortunately squandered by Grigg.
4. Warren O'Hora - 7.5
Unlucky to be the man who deflected the opener past Fisher, and fortunate not to be penalised for a shove on Grigg, but continues to improve with every game.
