Swans 'stopped doing the right things' in Rothwell draw
Corinthians had lost their previous three games heading into the clash with the Swans, but with Newport making a sluggish start to the UCL Premier Division season, the visitors stuck to their game plan to escape with a point.
While Newport started the game well, Rothwell sat deep and absorbed the early pressure but it would only last so long as the home side took the lead on 20 minutes as Harry Stratton headed home Olly Wilkinson's cross.

But after taking the lead, manager Lynch accused his players of letting it slip, allowing Rothwell back into the game with a first half equaliser.
He said: "For some reason after that we stopped doing the right things and allowed them to get back in the game which resulted in them getting an equaliser.
"The game didn’t really get going for us after the break and although we missed a couple of good chances so did they.
"Credit to Rothwell who worked really hard for the point and fully deserved it in the end, we’ll have to look at ourselves and answer a few harsh questions about why our performance was not to our standards, and that includes myself and coaching staff."
