Newport Pagnell Town stages a remarkable comeback to stun Boston Town to remain in touch with the UCL Premier Division leading pack.
Coming into the game on the back of four straight defeats, lowly Boston looked on course to cause a major upset at Willen Road as they raced into a 3-0, courtesy of goals from Jordan Nuttell, Aaron Eyett and Alex Beck.
But Newport, who had been lacklustre until that point, fought back just before half time, though Greg Ling’s goal looked mere consolation as they went in 3-1 down at the break.
But the Swans returned to form in the second period and were simply too much for Boston.
Josh Crawley made it 3-2 in the 63rd minute, and two minutes later they were level courtesy of Brodo Lobo Brito.
And the comeback was complete when, with 12 minutes to go, Fazel Koriya netted a wonder-strike to win it late in the day.
The win sees Newport Pagnell climb to fourth in the UCL Premier Division.
