Swans win their first game of the new season
Two goals in four minutes saw Newport Pagnell Town win their opening UCL Premier Division game against Oadby.
The Swans started at a frantic pace and scored the opener after 11 minutes when Adam Pryke reacted first to Greg Ling’s parried header.
It was 2-0 four minutes later when Darryl Smith was given time and space to turn and slot home the second.
With their job done, Newport consolidated their lead and prevented Oadby from getting a lifeline back into the game.
