Louis Thompson is in line to return for MK Dons tomorrow night against Charlton Athletic.

The midfielder has been out since Dons' dramatic 2-1 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in November with a hamstring problem - another in a line of long-term injury woes suffered by the Welshman.

But the on-loan Norwich man is back in the fold and could feature at Stadium MK on Tuesday evening. David Kasumu though is set to miss out, also with a hamstring problem, but could return for the weekend's trip to AFC Wimbledon, while fellow midfielder Jordan Houghton is back running on grass after ankle surgery following a horror-challenge from Barnet's Andy Wordsworth early in the FA Cup second-round clash in November.

"I’m realy pleased as Louis looks really strong and maeks a big difference to the group," said Russell Martin. "He’s a brilliant person and a real leader.

"David Kasumu isn’t far off and I hope we go into Saturday looking really strong.

"Jordan’s advancing really quickly and hopefully wont e long. We’ve got some light at the end of the tunnel and hope we have them back soon."
