Moving into the top half of League One means little to Russell Martin at this stage of the season.

Dons' third consecutive league victory - the first time they have done it since February 2019 - sees them up to 11th, having picked up 13 points from 15 available.

Though there are still 17 games remaining, and a hectic few weeks lie ahead, reaching the top half is something which looked a long way off just a few months ago, but while it may help the players psychologically, Martin says he's paying the feat little attention for now.

"I'm pleased for the players, and we have to keep driving on," he said. "My feeling on where we need to go and the work we need to do won't change based on the league position. It's a big week ahead for us, and at the end of the season I'll have looked at the table, I promise!

"We've shown we can adapt and be resilient, when we've not been resilient before. It is three wins in a row, we've got momentum, we're confident, and what wins do is take a bit of pressure off and put a bit more fear into the minds of the opposition. We have to keep building and see how far it takes us."
