Cameron Jerome made a few enemies in the north east in 2015 when the then-Norwich striker scored in the play-off final against Middlesbrough, including fellow Dons striker Ste Walker.

Boro fan and acacemy product Walker is on loan at Stadium MK - signed by manager Russell Martin, who also played in the play-off final for the Canaries - for the season and lined up alongside Jerome on Tuesday night for his first start for Dons, scoring his first goal too in the 2-0 win.

The 20-year-old admitted he was stunned by how good still Jerome is and is eager to continue playing alongside the 34-year-old. However, he still hasn't forgiven him for a goal he scored five years ago.

"He scored against Boro in the play-offs when we lost 2-0 and I've told him I still haven't forgiven him for that!" Walker joked. "But if he sets me up for a few goals I might forgive him!

"He's a quality player, you can see the experience and quality he brings. It's good to play with someone like that, he can teach me little tricks!

"You don't play at that level for so long if you don't have quality – he's ridiculous. We've got so many leaders in that dressing room. It's all positive."
