Who is Dons' latest signing Daniel Harvie?

Daniel Harvie makes the switch to MK Dons having already carved himself a strong start to his career in Scotland.

The 22-year-old left-back arrives at Stadium MK having made nearly 100 appearances in the Scottish Championship most recently for Ayr United.

Harvie came through the ranks at Aberdeen, making his debut as a teenager in March 2016 for the Dons. He was sent out on loan to Dumbarton for 2016/17 where he impressed greatly, not only establishing himself as a regular in the side but also earned the Young Player of the Year award.

Though he returned to Pittodrie for the following season, he could not establish himself in the team, and was released at the end of his contract. Snapped up by Ayr on a two-year deal, Harvie made 77 appearances for the club during his time at Somerset Park.

Harvie has also played for Scotland throughout the youth ranks, from U15s right through to U21s, for whom he played nine times during his time at Ayr United.
