Wigan win was one we needed says Dons striker Walker
After spending most of the season in the relegation zone so far, Walker's first start for the club, coming in his second loan spell from Middlesbrough, and his first goal helped them to a 2-0 win over the Latics, climbing out of the bottom four in the process.

"I'm delighted to have scored. It was frustrating having been here before and not getting on the scoresheet, but hopefully this is the first of many.
"I just want to help the team however I can – with goals and assists. We've got two important games coming up and we want to take as many points possible from these games."
During his first loan spell with the club in early 2019, Walker sat next to now manager Russell Martin in the dressing room and was taken under the wing of the former Norwich defender. Now back with Martin as manager, Walker said he is eager to repay the faith he has been shown.

Russ was a player when I was here, and we'd sit together in the dressing room and he was on to me every day trying to help me improve. It meant a lot to me. When he phoned me to say he wanted me to come down, it was a no-brainer. He's got so much faith in me and I want to repay him."
