Newport Pagnell Town’s young footballers are gearing up for the new season after one that saw four of their youth teams crowned champions of their respective leagues.

With 17 teams of players ranging in age from six up to 16, the club provides football activity for around 300 local children at their Willen Road ground.

In the Milton Keynes and District Development League, Newport had winners at both U10 and U11 age groups, with the U12s runners-up in their division.

And in the MK and Border Counties Youth League, the U13 Tigers (pictured) and U14 Lions both won Division Two titles to secure promotion to the top tier for the 2013-14 season.

The youth section has also celebrated further success as Ian Ford, manager of the U13 Tigers, was not only awarded the accolade of manager of the season for the age group, but he also went on to be named manager of the season for the entire league structure.

Despite their success, the club is still welcoming anyone interested in joining the fun. Email
