Greg Rutherford to defend his Olympic title in Rio

Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford has been named in the Team GB squad for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Rutherford, who currently holds the four major long jump titles, retained his European Championship crown on Friday in Amsterdam, and was confirmed in the Olympic squad on Wednesday.

Rio will be Rutherford’s third Olympics, having competed in Beijing in 2008 before winning gold in London four years ago.
